Mini Haul - Basics and then some

Hello loves! 

Any weekend I get to go shopping is a good one. I'm actually embarrassed to say that because I realize that consumerism rests cozily in the depths of my soul. Ah! But with that aside, let's get to the point of the post!

I actually had no intentions to shop this weekend. I was hanging out with my sister and we decided to stroll into DSW shoes. And there they were, these fantastic looking flats with the sexiest padding I've ever seen in a shoe. My future Sperry's. Yep, I purchased them and so the haul began.

Upon purchasing my shoes, I realized that I needed some basic tee's to match  (as I really don't have any). Next stop? American Eagle.

I'm a huge fan of American Eagle Outfitters and frequent their shop online and in stores. For a company that doesn't seemingly market their clothing to Black women, I find their jeans to be extremely comfortable and well-fitting for my figure. There's really no other company I've found that makes me as happy (Express Jeans don't even compare) when it comes to jeans.

I like the neon yellow stripe on my white tee. That yellow color perfectly matches the yellow on my shoes.

I had no business getting these shorts nor jeans..but I purchased them because they are fabulous. The way I justify purchasing the shorts and jeans is that, my shorts match the white tee, and the jeans go well with my pink tee and Sperry's =D

New Shoes!!

Ever do a happy dance when you find something you really like? Yep, me too. Today's dance also involved a pose in front of the mirror so that I could fancy myself, in a shoe store, and with folks staring at me. My sister captured the moment! Me no care, I was happy..

Ever have an article of clothing that’s not as gorgeous as you thought it once was? Yet, you have an inexplicable attachment to it? I do. 

It’s the skirt you see in this outfit. I knew I didn’t love this skirt for nothing, so I decided to rock it today and I am once again in love.
